TOP 10 Highlights of My 2009 Year

Since I am gonna be kind of busy the next few days I am doing a lot of posting tonight.
It's that time of year to wrap it all up. I've been thinking of my top 10 lists...lots of them.
Here are my top 10 Highlights of 2009

1. Baby Knox came into this world with a safe and sound delivery!


and he is so healthy and is already learning to pray!

2. My Costa Rica Mission trip
dancing with the Costa Rica church in their worship service
loving on those children

learning to mudd a wall and working hard with the team
rafting with Madge in Costa Rica and seeing lots of monkeys in the trees

3. Taking Daddy on a special 90th birthday trip with my sisters and brothers


putting on a skit/song/poem for Daddy singing 5 golden children to the tune of the 12 Days of Christmas

4. Going to Epcot and Disney World with my deerest friend and neighbor, Mrs. SuMé

having so much fun with Jack at Animal Kingdom

5. Having Little Girls Weekend with us and getting all 3 of them ready for church and all my church friends having a fit over them

6. Having the big girls for their Girls Weekend with us and coming up with a spontaneous "water war" between Mrs SuMé's granddaughters and us

7. Little Boys Weekend with us and watching Harrison catch a fish and Brendan being so happy for him when he really wanted to catch that fish

8. Having Big Boys Weekend with us and having Corey tell me it was better than going to Six Flags

9. Attending Sadler's retreat with her and spending time with my lifelong childhood best friend

going (getting to go was huge since it was the day after Knox's birth)to the beach with my lifelong Potluck friends

Our last Christmas of 09

the cousins were all enjoying each other so much
and Lolli was having a good time with each child
the girl cousins surprised us this time by spending almost the whole time outside = they had reasons...

this ride was sweet, especially down the hilly driveways of our cul de sac
we had to call the girls in to eat (usually it is the boys)-they were having too much fun on the rip sticks
speaking of eatting, the adults are gonna kill me for this picture - catching them with their mouths full :)
Everyone took a walk with us this time to feed the horses! We stopped by the creek along the way for a family shot-I think we made a family memory here :)
the horses were so glad to see all of us and to meet these kid's parents!

Two people are missing from this family picture - Corey got sick and Kimberly stayed home with him.
I can't remember a time when all these children got to see the horses together like this. It was a fun way to end Christmas 2009.
