Aging is a Privilege, not a birthright
I heard this recently and need to be reminded daily, "Aging is a privilege, not a birthright". Some days the body makes me think it is NOT a privilege. Here is what I would tell this little one who was just born a month ago if she could understand:
"do all you the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can."
Quote borrowed from John Wesley, founder of Methodism.
"do all you the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can."
