This thanksgiving I have no pictures of what we ate or who we were with for certain reasons. We took Thanksgiving dinner to a Foster home for young girls. So we took a few pictures of my daughter and family before we left that morning.
The home was expecting about 13 girls to be there along with a house mother but it ended up being 4 girls, ages 14-17. 
We took enough food for an army and it blessed us a lot more than it probably blessed them to fellowship and eat the meal with them. We played outside for awhile that morning and Joey played volleyball with all the girls. As we sat down to eat, Joey asked each one of us to contribute to the blessing and say something we are thankful for. There was a huge lump in my throat during that time (but I held it all together). Such sweet things were said and the girls are truly thankful for little blessings that they have even though their lives are turned upside down by not having a stable family. After lunch we all played Pictionary, even Annie and Lily Kate! It was a great way to spend this day of Thanksgiving.
Obviously we made it home to be in Auburn for the Friday Iron Bowl game and 5 minutes atfter we won, I looked at Jack and said come on we are going to Toomers! I had dressed like a slob all day, no makeup etc. but I threw on some Auburn gear and away we headed to the biggest crowd we have ever seen downtown!
It was bumper to bumper from our neighborhood to Toomers and everyone was in great spirits. This literally was my first time to participate in a rolling of Toomers instead of being a bystander.
and it really was Jack's first time to throw a roll of toilet of paper and a memorable moment for us!
We had a blast.
We were so glad to see Lauren and Corey and Greg after all the celebrating as they headed back to Atlanta from their Thanksgiving in Montgomery.
Both these two teenager grands will always be our biggest AU fans and it is really fun to be with them upon occasion such as that Iron Bowl evening!
Our next day visitors, the Scott Downes Family, also on their way back from their Montgomery Thanksgiving, brought laughter and hungry bellys to our home.
My lollipop drum is one of the first toys the grands look for and Beckett was thrilled to enjoy it outside as was I am sure my neighbors :) 
Brendan is so happy he can climb on top of this play structure with no worries and I am too. Well, you knew I could not post without some sort of lollipop pictures. Here are 2 new ones that I love.
Well, that's all folks for our big week.It's been a great orange and blue season and a great Thanksgiving.
