Of course we had to get a horse visit in. Tess and Lady are beyond happy to have all this attention and lots of carrot snacks lately.
I, of course , am in game heaven with the older kids being able to play and even beat me in my own game.
The highlight was taking the kids to the AU basketball game and Corey was thoroughly enjoying sitting next to his Pops and discussing all the plays and the moves.
Lauren has her eye on becoming a Tiger Paw one day! She was thrilled to get her picture made with them. I was thrilled for her and look forward to her years as a student here on campus.
Corey loved his hug from Aubie too :)
We were thankful for decent weather during this visit as Corey particularly loves our outdoor activities and he had a ball skating up and down the driveway.
Lauren also enjoyed playing with the AU basketballs but these word games are much more down her alley :) Her wacky words were the last word as she won while we played til the late hours of the night!
We were treated to many sibling smiles between these two and so happy that they are growing up close to each other (they are 2 years apart). There were a few squabbles but quickly resolved with not much drama or hurt feelings/bones. They are fiercely competitve but they do handle it all in fun. I am sure their parents might have something to add to that statement but that is how we see them while at Lolli and Pops' house:)
These two had a big time on the trampoline. First time I had seen popcorn played on the trampoline. It was nice to see a game invented that does not involve electronics by this generation.
All our grandchildren love to hunt for the golfballs around here but none quite so eagerly as Corey! He ALWAYS finds the most and this time of year, both these siblings had a good time raking through leaves and brush to find a few. Lauren found 1 and Corey found 4!
