Downes Christmas Party

Yesterday we had a Downes Christmas party at our house and everyone was in a party mood whether they had been sick or not(unfortunately most of us had) but we did party! When you have 8 grandchildren in ages 2,3,6,7,8,9,11 and 19 and a bunch of adults who are ready for Christmas in a house that opens up like one big circle, it is a circus,... correction... I mean, it is a circle of noise and laughter and wildness (as in children running) going on! We ate wonderful home cooked spaghetti by Penny and enjoyed opening gifts together and had some fun entertainment by the grandchildren putting on a few skits with all the dress-up clothes:)
