The littlest girl had several things going on during that week that required extra TLC. She was cutting her second tooth, had an ear infection, and to make matters worse, had a bad rash with extra dry skin and some pink rosey chapped cheeks that cold weather brought to her.
She's such a sweetie pie though. She mostly smiles all the time, even when she bumps her little forehead on the chairs.
So, after 3 days of cold rainy weather, the grandmother put the littlest girl down for her morning nap and bundled up the older girl for a quick stroll up the street. Of course, Bah Bah and Meme had to go along.
They found the neighbor's ultra friendly lab dog and a sweet beagle to visit with.
The sweet beagle always rolls over for anyone to rub his belly! The older girl squealed with delight to make friends with the dogs.
When they strolled back home, the smart older girl wanted to lay Bah Bah and Meme down in the manger decoration that her Pops made.
It was a nice time to talk about the baby Jesus laying in the manger and why we have all this Christmas celebration anyway. The smart girl decided she wanted to lay in the manger like baby Jesus too but the grandmother was not fast enough to take that picture!
