You did not actually think I was finished posting about our Lily Kate time did you?
NO, I have quite a few new pictures I need to share! We had the fortunate opportunity to expose her to the sweet life here on the plains during a home game weekend! She sported her AU wardrobe so cutely and through her babbles you could hear the "War Weagle, and Hey"! real loud and then lots of "bye byes" as we saw lotttsssss of people on Friday and Saturday.
She also got to ride her first shuttle bus and the freedom from her carseat was way too exciting for this wiggle worm. The trip over to the pregame excitement was great and there was a couple with a tiny yorkshire terrior sitting right behind us so let me tell you she was one excited little girl. The fans on the bus were royally entertained between the two:)
all ready to go (I kind of think this child has her Lolli's hair -we can predict the weather by our curls and frizz)!
So here's more of a tour of the AU/LK weekend we had!
We ran errands on Friday and took her to the Mall during some more pouring rain. We had our own little pep rally wherever we went. The fans of a precious toddler in an AU cheerleader outfit are many :)
Weagle hey!
We had to spoil her just a little bit by riding a few rides.
"Nooooo!(a toddler's favorite word), it can't be time to go home yet?"
her funniest little face when she is not thrilled with the carseat confines...we told her the fun would continue through out the weekend and it did :)
It was fun for us just to watch her eat and scoop up every single bite all by herself. She is very good with a fork and a spoon.
After a good bath and some play time, she was raring to go again. One forgets what a sweet time this is in the course of a day. I am convinced that grandparenting is a reward but I am also positive I do not deserve such precious moments as these.
LK's first time at the happenings before the game. She says, "hey where's my coke?"
We waited and waited for Tiger Walk but then the weather got pretty bad.
When it first began to rain, we took refuge inside the coliseum which proved to be the perfect place to let our little one run and explore. I was chasing her past this area
and lo and behold our favorite basketball player from the team last year came out (Quantez Robertson)! He is headed for the big leagues very soon.
He was so nice to let this crazy grandmother get a special picture!
She really wanted to see Aubie but this wall picture had to suffice for this trip.
Lk knows all about the eagle and says tweet tweet for the bird!
War Eagle everyone! It was a fun weekend in Auburn!
